Hey, Z-Chis! It's almost 2016 and we would love to start the year off right by exercising! We are so excited to introduce to you all our second annual exercise challenge, which will take place from 1/10-2/21! 

What's this about?
It doesn't matter if you believe in new year's resolutions or not. There's no time like the present to work on your health, especially when you get to do it with your sisters! This exercise challenge is not necessarily about losing weight. You can work on runninglifting weightsyogaZumbarock climbing... the sky is the limit. This is all about holding each other accountable and doing what's healthy for you! 

What makes our competition different from last year is that you will put into teams (either by selection or randomly) for the course of this challenge. Your team leaders will be different members of the Region III Board and will hype you up over the course of the six weeks in their own ways. Possibly with different exercise videos, inspirational quotes, or funny pictures. They will keep you going!

When is it?
It starts NEXT MONTH! It's a 6-week challenge from January 10 to February 21 (that's right, SIX weeks!). The deadline for registration is January 8th (including registration, payment, & Motivade sign-up). SIGN UP RIGHT NOW!

(3) MOTIVADE ACCOUNT
We will be using a website called Motivade to keep track of our workouts. Make an account and join our group. Click on Groups > Search for a Group from the menu bar and search for our sorority by name, and request to join our group. Then go to the Challenges tab and accept the 'Region III Exercise Competition!' by January 8th. Please contact us if you have any issues joining.

(4) SPREAD THE WORD 
Click here to join our Facebook event (opens in new tab) and also tell other sorors about the challenge! Share the link to this page with Z-Chis you know and encourage them to participate. 

(5) EXERCISE
At least four 30-minute workouts per week for the six weeks. Pretty much any kind of workout is acceptable! Be sure to log all of your workouts on Motivade. This is how we will keep track.

(6) HOW TO "WIN"
> All participants who successfully complete the challenge will get $5 back from their registration payment. 
One of these participants will be randomly selected to receive a special gift!
